We are J'ADORE BEAUTY, a hair and makeup artistry team specializing in beauty for bridal and special events. With dedication and perseverance, the upscale experience in hair and makeup artistry comes with a commitment to excellence.

All of our services are on-location, so we come to the client. Our team consists of talented artists and we are growing fast. We are looking for talented artists but are happy to train the right person.

We are grateful to have been recognized and awarded as the Best High-End Makeup Artistry for the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as the San Francisco Business Excellence Award and Wedding Wire’s Bride’s Choice Award. We have accumulated an extensive list of awards won, publications, editorials and treasured feedback from our loving clients around the world.

Seeking a talented makeup artist who is passionate about makeup & beauty available as a freelance position for special events, bridal, photo-shoots and on-location work.

Flexibility, availability and reliability is a MUST.

We have Artist Tiers for new artists and opportunities for growth on our team to Lead Artists and Master/Specialized Artists. All artists must begin as new artists and be promoted within.

Starting Pay for new artists is $55 per hour, plus bonuses + tips + travel.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Passionate about the beauty industry

Flexibility, availability and reliability is a MUST

Must have vehicle/ability to travel within the city and surrounding areas

Provides great customer service, leaving clients exceptionally happy with their look

Is able to understand and translate hair and makeup request from clients by doing a consultation with each client prior to services

Can provide their own creative expertise when a client is unsure of what makeup look and redirect the client towards a look that complements them

Ability to work on clients' hair and makeup and in a timely manner

Ability to work with people of color and all types of skin tones and hair types

Has diverse knowledge of different color palettes, design styles and trending looks.

Is a team player and able to communicate with team while working together to finish services

Has a tool and supply kit to create a variety of different makeup looks * work with men and women of all ages

Ability to communicate with the Manager and Schedule Coordinator efficiently and effectively throughout the scheduling and day of services

Open to constructive feedback and artistry development. All artists undergo one-on-one onboarding and craft revisions + improvements on our team.

Has a friendly, professional manner. Looks presentable for all booked events as a representative of our team
